It started a decade ago in a downtown bookstore in Winchester by Andy and Jennifer Gyurisin and has since moved to the Alamo Theatre in Kernstown Commons.  It is now called the Alamo Drafthouse Film club.  It has been so successful that Five Alamo franchises across the country started their own film clubs under Andy's guidance.  For further information see The Winchester Star article, Thursday, March 1, 2018

The Historic Rosemont Manor in Berryville is planning to add two buildings to the 60-acre property west of the town to enhance its existing facilities.  Two public hearings were set by the Berryville Planning Commission.  For further information, see The Winchester Star article on Thursday, March 1, 2018.  

The Top of Virginia Regional Chamber has partnered with CGI Communications, Inc. of Rochester, NY to produce a new series of videos promoting Winchester, Frederick County and Clarke County as a premier place to live, work and visit. Once completed, the videos will be posed on the chamber's website at regionchamber.biz for viewing by people and businesses interested in the Northern Shenandoah Valley.  For more information, see The Winchester Star, Friday, March 2, 2018.

The Capitol Steps return to Handley High School.  The Handley Class of 2018 is sponsoring the highly acclaimed Washington D.C.-based comedy troupe bringing their blend of musical and political comedy to the Patsy Cline Theatre at 3:18pm on April 8, 2018.  For more information, see The Winchester Star Community Bulletin Board for Saturday, March 3, 2018.
