Highlighting a Historic Visit at Solenberger’s Home and Hardware
Last week, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin and Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears visited Solenberger’s Home and Hardware in Winchester, the oldest family-owned hardware store in the Commonwealth, operating since 1888.
Solenberger’s, a proud member of the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber, has been family-owned and operated for five generations. Patti Solenberger, co-owner of the business and a valued member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, welcomed the Governor and Lt. Governor for a tour of the store and to meet employees.
The visit wasn’t political—it was a recognition of local business, community, and family. Both Governor Youngkin and Lt. Governor Earle-Sears spoke warmly about the importance of family-owned businesses and even led a moment of prayer for Solenberger’s continued success.
We are proud to celebrate this special recognition of one of our Chamber members. Congratulations to John, Patti, and the entire Solenberger family on this memorable visit!
