About Us

Kevin McKannan is the Managing Attorney with Glenloch Legal, P.L.C., focusing on business planning, choice of entity, succession planning, estate planning, employment law, and other numerous business matters.

Kevin has been practicing as a Virginia attorney since 2009. In addition to working with Glenloch Legal, Kevin serves as a member of the Rotary Club and is the Past President of the Winchester-Frederick County Bar Association. Kevin is also a Veteran of the Army having served as an attorney with the Judge Advocate General Corps. He deployed June 2016 through March 2017 with the 1-116 Infantry Battalion in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Spartan Shield) as the Officer in Charge of the Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar Consolidated Legal Office, providing legal counsel to base commanders.

Kevin’s practice focuses primarily on small and mid-sized business owners with a strong emphasis on planning and strategy. Specifically, he focuses on the following areas:

-Choice of entity/business formation and start-up business planning.
-Business growth planning and drafting business documents.
-Contract formation.
-Business succession planning.
-Advising business owners on various matters including governance, employment, strategy, planning, and business purchases.
-Developing and drafting estate plans, which include using living trusts, wills, powers of attorney and advanced medical directives.
