    Production Coordinator
     
    Job Summary: The Production Coordinator, under the guidance of the Business Services Supervisor, will be responsible for all aspects of shipping, receiving, warehousing and other related aspects of the warehouse. The Production Coordinator follows all safety protocols and procedures to include proper attire for work environment.
     
    Essential Functions:
    • Responsible for setting up deliveries and pick-ups of external customers as necessary.
    • After formal training, will operate equipment such as forklift, mowing machinery, power-jack, tape machine, compactor, and stretch wrap machine as needed for contract completion.
    • Assists the Business Services Supervisor in completing all contractual requirements as assigned.
    • Maintains excellent customer relations with vendors, businesses contacts, other community partners, as well as with managers, staff and workers.
    • Assists with other production departments with skills training activities as assigned.
    • May at times assist in leading the work of team members performing tasks in and around the warehouse area.
    • Maintains and tracks all NWW and customer inventory via WMS or paper files.
    • Schedules material deliveries and able to drive company box truck to various locations.
     
    Work Environment: This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Also, standard warehouse equipment routinely used: hand trucks, box cutters, tape dispensers, compactors, and stretch wrap machines. Must maintain neat, clean, organized and safe work spaces.
     
    Physical Demands: The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform this position’s essential functions.
    • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs;
    • Ability to stoop and bend;
    • Ability to perform repetitive motion;
    • Ability to work beyond the normal work schedule, including Saturdays as needed;
    • Ability to stand an entire work day; and,
    • Ability to use full range of motion.
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger,
    handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to
    stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or
    balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or
    move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100
    pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
    peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
     
    Requirements:
    High School Diploma or GED
    Minimum 6-12 months experience in the human services field and/or industrial production work
    Able to stand for up to 8 hours
    Able to lift up to 50 lbs
