Thousands of students in Public Schools take CTE courses\, both college and workforce bound. Below are some highlights of CTE.\n\n\n\n Credentials\n\nStudents may take state approved industry\, professional\, or trade association certification examinations or occupational competency assessments that are aligned with their CTE course.\n\n Students earn thousands of credentials annually. E.g. Microsoft Office Specialist\, CompTIA A+ and Net+\n\n Work-based Learning\n\nWork experience aligned with a students CTE course or area of career interest is work-based learning.\n\n A comprehensive approach to work-based learning providing opportunities on a spectrum of\n\ncareer exploration to career preparation. Work-based learning activities are infused in the curriculum and\n\nutilized as an instructional tool or stand-alone programs and initiatives.
