    Event Description:

    Adriana Trigiani
The Top of Virginia Regional Chamber is excited to host the New York Times best selling author when she comes to Winchester as the guest speaker at the June 14 Valley Business Women luncheon. Ms. Trigiani is not only a prolific author, but is a talented playwright and screen writer.  She wrote the screenplay and directed the movie Big Stone Gap based on her very popular first novel by the same name.

Besides her popular novels, Trigiani co-authored Cooking With My Sisters with her sister Mary which features family recipes and stories dating back several generations of her Italian-American family. Another non-fiction work is Don't Sing At The Table: Life Lessons from my Grandmothers. This book gives us a peek into the lives of the women who shaped her.

Ms Trigiani will speak to the Valley Business Women audience about those women who influenced her in life and in business. Be sure to visit her web site to learn more about this multi-dimensional woman. She will also give us insight into what has motivated and inspired her to become the accomplished author, writer and business woman that she is today.
